Labor Rate
Certified UAS Pilot
FAA Part 107 certified & Insured pilot providing pre-flight planning, airspace coordination, safe flight operations, and post-flight data handling. This rate covers professional labor and operational expertise and applies to all missions.
Visual Observer
Certain missions require a dedicated Visual Observer to maintain continuous unaided visual contact with the aircraft, monitor surrounding airspace, and assist the pilot in identifying potential hazards. A Visual Observer enhances situational awareness, improves safety, and supports regulatory compliance during complex or high-risk operations.

The requirement for a Visual Observer is determined based on mission complexity, airspace, environmental conditions, and safety considerations. PixelatedSkies LLC reserves the right to require a Visual Observer when necessary to maintain safe and compliant operations.
* Minimum Mission Time
2-hour minimum per deployment
Due to planning, setup, and mobilization requirements, all missions are subject to a two-hour minimum billing period.

DJI Matrice 4TD - Enterprise Thermal Platform
Enterprise-grade aircraft equipped with advanced thermal and visual imaging sensors. Ideal for livestock recovery, search operations, inspections, mapping, and night missions where accuracy and reliability are critical.
Iflight / Custom FPV Drones
High-performance FPV aircraft designed for action sports, promotional video, and dynamic cinematic footage. Best suited for fast-paced, close-proximity filming requiring agility and precision.
Operational Modifiers
Travel & Mileage
Mileage is calculated round-trip from PixelatedSkies LLC’s primary place of business and covers fuel, vehicle wear, equipment transport, and mobilization time.
Night Operations
Flights conducted after sunset require additional planning, lighting systems, visibility verification, and increased situational awareness to ensure safe and compliant operations.
* This surcharge reflects the added complexity, safety considerations, and operational risk associated with night flight.
Emergency / After-Hours Call-Out
Applies to urgent or off-hours missions requiring immediate response, rapid mobilization, or deployment outside normal business hours. Common for livestock recovery, search operations, or time-sensitive inspections.
